This Monday evening will see reigning champions Belmont Academy play Wellington School in the Semi-Final of the Brewin Dolphin Under 18 Scottish Schools Plate.

With both Schools based in Ayr, and many of the players team mates at club level, this is sure to be an keenly contested fixture, and a big congratulations must go to all the teaching and coaching staff for all their hard work.

The winner will go through to the Final of the Plate competition which Belmont Academy won last season with a 36 – 12 victory over Kelso High School.

We wish both teams the best of luck, and its fantastic to see two Ayr Schools doing well in the national competitions and even more pleasing to know that we will have one representative in the final.

Kick Off will be at 7 pm at Ayr Rugby Club (weather depending)
