The Ayr P7 team is open to anyone in the P7 year at school who want to start playing rugby.
We have a squad of 27 boys coming from 10 different Ayrshire primary schools. We play in Pink and Black and are known as the pink bees by a number of other rugby clubs.
General Information
We train on a Sunday morning 10am - 12 noon. From August to May we train outside at Rozelle Park. On the odd occassion if we have an away game and part of the squad are playing at another club we will usually have training for the rest of the squad at Millbrae. If your child is interested in trying the game and is in P7 why not come along and join in.
We play mini rugby using the Scottish Rugby Union law variations for P7 which can be accessed by clicking here.

Winners of the Cooke Festival
The Ayr P7 squad successful run continues in Ulster with a very successful tour. On Saturday we were hosted by Ballymena rugby club who introduced the boys to the physical and faster game under the IRFU rules. The boys played excellent rugby and won two out of the three games against Ballymena. On Sunday they faced stiff opposition at the Cooke mini festival from 4 of Ulsters top mini club sides and Stirling County who were also touring. The boys played 6 games and won all 6 beating CIYMS who up to that point were unbeaten all season. Each match was tightly contested but the boys superior ball handling, passing and aggression at around the ruck was to much to handle for all. Well Done Boys!
