The 2024 FOSROC Super Series Sprint will start on Friday 19 April with six rounds of regular competition played in a traditional league format.

They will then play a seventh round of final fixtures on the second weekend in June with these play-offs determining the final standings of the competition.

The six Super Series teams will play either Edinburgh A or Glasgow A in rounds one, three and five of the Sprint competition, depending on which professional team they are aligned to.

Edinburgh Rugby A will play against Southern Knights, Heriot’s Rugby and Watsonians whilst Glasgow Warriors A will play against Boroughmuir Bears, Stirling Wolves and Ayrshire Bulls.

In the 2023 FOSROC Super Series Sprint the professional A sides played in the first three rounds of competition.

This year they will play on alternate weekends to allow the professional sides to plan and deliver on their URC commitments, maximise their on-field playing resources and off-field support to ensure that each pro-team A side can maximise development opportunities and staff time with players.

Although the A sides are only involved in three of the six regular rounds, any league points accumulated by Super Series teams in matches against the A sides will count towards final league standings at the end of round six to determine the play-offs.

Broadcast details will be announced ahead of the Sprint kicking off in April.

We start our season on April 19th at 7:35pm at Millbrae vs the Stirling Wolves.
