Background:

Ayr Community Rugby Trust (ACRT), working in partnership with Scottish Rugby, South Ayrshire Council and Ayr Rugby, has had a Development Officer in place for the last 17 years, working with 5 Secondary schools and 20 + Primary schools in the South Ayrshire area. In 2017 ACRT employed our first Assistant Development Officer. This post is to help support the growth of rugby in Ayr.

 

Purpose:

Working with the ACRT Senior DO, you will support the delivery at the Belmont School of Rugby, other secondary/primary school programmes, Millbrae Way and the development of coaches. All of this is aimed at supporting Ayr to become a strong community club.

 

  • Hours of work: Full time 35 hours p/w
  • Work pattern: Weekdays and some evening/weekend work as required
  • Contract: 1 year
  • Location: UWS and Ayr Rugby Club
  • Reports to: ACRT Senior DO
  • Salary: £22,000 – £24,000
