Ayr Rugby are delighted to announce that local plant and fencing contractor John Marshall & Sons have extended their sponsorship of both Ayr Rugby and the Ayrshire Bulls. JMS will also adopt a player from both the Bulls and Club XV squad as their player-sponsor.

The renewed sponsorship was launched at John Marshall and Sons yard in Maidens, taking place before the introduction of tier 4 lockdown restrictions and with all participants adhering to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) protocols.

Director of JMS, Alan Marshall, expressed delight upon the extension: “We are over the moon to be continuing our sponsorship of both Ayr Rugby and the Ayrshire Bulls. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to seeing their progression when Rugby returns”.

The launch also provided the perfect opportunity for club photographer George McMillan to snap Alan alongside his pride and joy, a Yamaha motorcycle.

Ayr Rugby C.O.O Glen Tippett was equally positive: “We are delighted John Marshall & Sons Ltd are back onboard. They are a big company in Ayrshire and to have them commit to us during these times highlights the ambition of this club. Their logo has been emblazoned on the back of the Bulls jersey since their conception and they have also erected our fabulous pitch-side fences for sponsor boards.

“For JMS community involvement is massive, and that correlates well with our values and drives. Ayr Rugby continues to be at the heart of the local community and we are thankful to be so heavily entwined during these unprecedented times”.
