The Ayrshire Bulls are delighted that Ross Thompson has signed his first professional contract with Glasgow Warriors.
The 21-year old has already made two appearances for the Warriors having graduated from the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy.
Thompson was a real standout for the Bulls in their debut season in the FOSROC Super6. The talented young fly-half scored 61 points in an impressive season.
The talented youngster has represented Scotland at the U20 level multiple times playing in the 2018 U20 World Rugby Championship and captaining the side in 2019.
Bulls head coach Peter Murchie said: “We are delighted that Ross has signed his first professional deal. He was an integral member of our maiden Super6 squad and has kicked on again this year.
“He is a great example of someone getting his chance after having to be patient and grabbing it with both hands”.
Everyone at Ayrshire Bulls and Ayr Rugby Club wishes Ross all the best at Glasgow Warriors and for his future career.
