Play Rugby at Ayr RFC

Our men's 1st XV has nurtured the talents of four Scottish international players recently in Gordon Reid, Pat MacArthur, Mark Bennett and Finn Russell.  We have a close connection with Glasgow Warriors, with Al Kellock, James Eddie and Dougie Hall, to name but a few, having donned the pink and black shirt in the past few seasons, as well as our own players training with the Scotstoun side.  We have a men's 2nd XV and de facto 3rd XV in the form of Millbrae RFC.  The youth section is thriving, with teams from P1 to U18s, as well as girls' U15 and U18 teams.  Ayr Ladies currently plays in the BT Women's National League Division 1.  Megan Thomson, Lisa Croniken and Emily Irving have played for Scotland Women U20s, and Irving has one senior cap.

Sponsor a Player

Sponsorship at Ayr RFC is a great way to get your company or business noticed in the local community and further afield, as well as supporting the club.  Sponsoring a player in the men's 1st XV is just one way of doing this, and there are several players still in need of sponsorship for the 2015/16 season.  For £250, the sponsor's name will be listed alongside the player in every home match programme and on the club's website.  The sponsor's name will also be announced over the tannoy at Millbrae every time the player performs a point-scoring act during a match.  Please contact info@ayrrugbyclub.co.uk to find out more!
